I give my most sincere congratulations to Doug Hislop. We posted on our website that Mr. Hislop was named the Oregon Wrestling Coach of the Year. We recently learned he has gone on to win the National Coach of the Year as well. What a great honor for Mr. Hislop, his wife, Patty, the Imbler School District, Union County, and the state of Oregon. I can think of no one more deserving of this award than Mr. Hislop. His dedication to the sport and, more importantly, the young people participating in it are admirable. You can read the OSAA press release here.
