Yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, October 3rd, the internet went down at the school. This created a problem with our phones as we have transitioned to a new phone system that is reliant upon the internet. If you tried to call the school during this outage, you just got a phone that rang and rang but never went to voice mail. This is the key as to knowing when our internet/phones are down. In the future, the remedy for this is to use our emergency phone numbers. The emergency phone numbers are; Elementary School - 541-534-6655 and High School - 541-534-9560. These are actually our fax numbers, but they are traditional land lines. So when the internet is down, we will remove the fax and put a phone on these lines, which will allow us to answer calls placed to these numbers. Please keep these numbers in the event this happens again, as it most likely will. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but hope that this will resolve the issue in the future.
